Hi Kerravon,

I'm not sure from your post what you're specifically having trouble
with, but it sounds like unattended isn't able to lookup the netbios
name for your install machine.

By default the name is ntinstall. For the linux portion of the
unattended process, this should be directly resolvable in the domain
that your machine is a member of. Eg: if your domain is somecharity.org
and your dhcp hands this out with a dns server ip of 192.168.0.10, then
unattended needs to be able to find an ip for ntinstall.somecharity.org
by querying 192.168.0.10.

If unattended doesn't find ntinstall then it won't get very far. You
can override this in the boot parameters (see the docs and wiki and list
archives for specifics)...I chose not to.

If you're still having problems, be a little more specific about how
your setup is (hopefully) working...eg: are you using dhcp? are you
booting unattended via cd? pxe? usb stick? Do you have local dns
servers that you can manage or request changes to? What sort of samba
config are you running?

Hope that helps. Feel free to take this offlist if this reply doesn't
help.

Thanks
-Ben
