HI,
I am trying to use "Unattended" to roll out an image to a HP DC7700 desktop. My
problem is that with no alteration to the pxelinux.cfg default file the system
hangs on "Probing PCI Interface (Bus 00)". I looked up that error and found
some suggestions that asked for "apic" to be turned off when loading the
kernel, so I added the line below to the default file;
append initrd=initrd noapic
By adding the noapic switch to the line it caused the kernel; to throw a
"Kernel panic", I am an absolute novice at all things Linux so any help will be
greatly appreciated.
