I'm having fun with Unattended, for the first time in a few years now,
for a novel purpose. I need to create a collection of virtual machines,
all running windows, all alike, without sharing windows meida.

The aim is to create virtual machines in KVM/qemu to aim Samba4 tests
at...

As such, I'm wondering if there is any chance of a new linux boot
release? I need the version that preferences cifs over smbfs (given how
unmaintained smbfs is these days).

(In my past life as a sysadmin, I did this by hacking the server to
refuse connections - I think by demanding NTLMv2 - in such a way that
smbmount failed, but mount.cifs would not...)

Thanks,

Andrew Bartlett
