well, I am not against people putting password on their files, but with 
the fact that we are receiving mails that are not related to us.

As a side effect those users do not know how it was build so they are a 
bit father from the project. The closer they are on the code the easier 
to help an improved. getting our hands dirty make it a better project :-)

are you talking about Alec Muffett's toy?  I knew him when i was at Sun. 
But I do not know if there are other tools outthere.
