Hello,

I am using unattended 4.6 now for several years and It worked without
any problems.
Now we are having a new PC type and some problems showed up.
When I am using dosboot the PC automaticly reboots when in the perl
script (install.pl)
a shell command (cmd) is called. There is no error message or something
like that it's just immediatly
rebooting.

When I am using Linuxboot it first looks like it is working but when it
came to copy the files I am getting
the following message.

smb_proc_readX_data: offset is larger than SMB_READX_MAX_PAD or
negative!

Could somebody image how this strange behaviour can happen ?

Regards

Andreas
