I have a Fedora Linux box called 'ntinstall' that is set up with a share
named 'install' I can access it from my Windows box from the Run command
using \\ipaddress\install <file:///\\ipaddress\install> as well as
\\ntinstall\install <file:///\\ntinstall\install>  . When I run the
linux boot disk on my target pc, I keep the defaults and it responds as
follows;

You are currently logged on as GUEST.

You must first log off before logging on again.

GUEST was logged off successfully.

The command completed successfully.

Mapping Z: to \\ntinstall\install <file:///\\ntinstall\install> ...

The password is invalid for \\NTINSTALL\INSTALL
<file:///\\NTINSTALL\INSTALL>  .

Type the password for \\NTINSTALL\INSTALL <file:///\\NTINSTALL\INSTALL>
.

I have tried 'guest', no password, the root password, etc. Nothing
seems to be acceptable.

I have also tried changing the share to \\ipaddress\install
<file:///\\ipaddress\install>  but it fails at the same place with;

Error 53: The computer name specified in the network path cannot be
located.

Can someone PLEASE help me with this?
