Hi! I have some what improved Linux pxe/tftpboot image. There is a argument in the "master" script, called z_opts. It's appended to the command "mount.cifs" and appended to -o switch. We can add argument in pxelinux.cfg/default z_opts=ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in this case mount is working even if no DNS server around! The handling of this argument was buggy - I have been correct this. I remake the images (it really takes a lot of disk space about 1.4 G) but the new initrd is the half of the original. I realized that the original image includes (some how) modules for many different kernel versions - my only one 2.6.26. Where I can drop it, for community?
