Hi again,

I have discovered a directory named C:\netinst on the installed client. There
is a unattend.txt with all the things I have done. Is there a way to make this
file the default one as I mentioned before except the ComputerName? Another
important thing to know would be what happens with this folder? Why is it there
and where should it go ;)? I don´t really need it and the Password´s of an
administrative user is in there :).

Greetings

Hi there,

I have done a test install with the created CD. I have changed the z_path=
parameter as I said and it works. There is only one problem so far, but maybe
caused by myself. I wanna it to remove all partitions and formatting the whole
harddrive but for some reason it did not worked. During boot up now I can
choice to boot the "old System" as well. How to get rid of it?

So I have typed in the Product Key which Domain to join the Admin Password and
so on. What if I want to automate everything except the ComputerName? I have a
sample unattend.txt in C:\unattend\install\os\winxp\unattend.txt. What kind of
parameters to add to reach my goal?

Would be very nice to have this.

Greetings

You right jens :) For me the last choice to change the removable media,
such as a CD (I do not like many CD's around, rewriable media does not
work many times with old drives). That what I have using PXE boot - I have
done it because the "master" shell script has a little bug, the z_opt what
I need for the same reasons does not work, with new image, corrected
"master" I have manage to gives ip address for mount.cifs. That is the
background.
