Hello,

At one of our customers' sites we have seen the error mentioned in the subject
line (on WIndows boxes).

I don't know yet what might have triggered that error, but when I look at the
source code, if I am reading it correctly, I can see why the error was logged:

WSAPoll(NULL, 0, (SEND_BLOCKED_WAIT_TIMEOUT/10)<<(retries+1));

I don't think that the first argument can be NULL. See this
post<https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55524397/why-when-i-add-pollhup-as-event-wsapoll-returns-error-invalid-arguments>
 on StackOverflow and the doc for
WSAPoll<https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/winsock2/nf-winsock2-wsapoll>.

Should I file an issue on Github?

Thanks,

Marco
