After all both packages are from NLnetlabs...
It is your project and your decision, so nothing more to say from
my point of view.
Just to clarify, I am Paul Wouters, not Wouter Wijngaards. Wouter
runs the unbound
project, I merely ship it for fedora/rhel/centos.
Sorry for confusing it, but the reasoning is still the same. I'm not
the maintainer so it's not my duty to decide if it is a advantage to
de-bundle libldns.
