libreswan uses libunbound and enables emulating reading /etc/hosts before doing DNS lookups. A user reported a syntax error: Invalid argument, which turned out to be a Windows to Linux paste of hosts, so it has ^M style line endings. It would be nice if libunbound is a little bit smarter in dealing with these.
