Bev You write that To Understand is about living intellectually and I agree! Teachers that learn and students who teach. What a concept! Living intellectually maybe, requires BOTH! Could you elaborate on the idea of learning as survival? I think I know what you mean, but I'd like you to think aloud a little for me. :-) Also, Bev, I would like to hear what you think about the reflection sessions Ellin describes. Me too. And I think that's why To Understand is a far more organic book and uncovers many layers of deeper truths than Mosaic or any other books I've read so far. To Understand is all about living intellectually. Learning as survival, as well as joy.
