Bev
You write that To Understand is about living intellectually and I agree!
Teachers that learn and students who teach. What a concept! Living
intellectually maybe, requires BOTH!

Could you elaborate on the idea of learning as survival? I think I know what
you mean, but I'd like you to think aloud a little for me. :-)

Also, Bev, I would like to hear what you think about the reflection sessions
Ellin describes. (I don't ask for much, do I? :-) )

Me too. And I think that's why To Understand is a far more organic book and
uncovers many layers of deeper truths than Mosaic or any other books I've
read so far. To Understand is all about living intellectually. Learning as
survival, as well as joy. I just think that we can still have an impact by
the way we teach, even if we are lone voices in the wilderness for right
now.> Jennifer
