UNICEF Indonesia welcomes applications from qualified Indonesian
national candidates for the following vacancy on a temporary contract:
Assistant Project Officer, Peacebuilding
(Jakarta-based)
Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Emergency Unit, this
position is intended to ensure effective monitoring, management, and
evaluation of UNICEF's ongoing peacebuilding projects in the Malukus,
Aceh, and elsewhere in Indonesia.
Qualifications:
* University Degree in Social Sciences / Education / Psychology /
Communications / Law or related field. Advanced training in a field more
closely related to peacebuilding, child rights, child participation,
and/or conflict management will be a plus.
* Min 5 years experience in project design and management in social
development, humanitarian assistance, or a similar field. Familiarity
with project budgeting and financial management.
* Strong communications, group facilitation and report-writing skills.
* Good oral and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).
* Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environments,
and willingness to travel to conflict zones.
