Well, yes, but for technical symbols size often matters. Consider the three
circled bullets used by the Japanese (though those are punctuation marks).

I note that the size of the SQUARE LOZENGE in Unicode 1.0 is considerably
bigger and more recognizable than it is in Unicode 3.0.

I suppose the question is, what is the SQUARE LOZENGE for and why is it in
the UCS?
