This may not be the best forum to ask this question,but..... Is it true that Win XP Home and Win XP Pro have different lineage, one from Win 9x/ME and the other from NT and they have different levels of Unicode support? I thought all incarnations of Win XP are successors of WinNT4/2k and have better Unicode support than any other previous version of Windows (NT4/2k and 9x/ME) because nobody has ever mentioned any difference between Win XP Home and XP Pro in terms of Unicode support.
