The policy of my employer's network is to selectively block attachments that can contain viruses (e.g., .exe, .doc, .html, etc.) and allow those which can't (e.g., .txt, .gif, .jpeg). This policy has worked fine in the present case: the naughty attachment was blocked for security reasons. _ Marco
