Does Unicode have a >reasonable timetable to offer? I'm not sure I get this: 10646 implementations to be produced by [The] Unicode [Consortium]? My understanding is that TUC does not produce implementations; they only produce a standard known as The Unicode Standard. As for producing the Universal Character Set, they are in the process of doing that in concert with WG2, and are working with exactly the same timetable as WG2. The point of this thread escapes me. - Peter --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter Constable Non-Roman Script Initiative, SIL International 7500 W.
