Aside from Tex Texin's experimental pages, does any one have url's of web
sites done in UTF-16 rather than UTF-8? I don't, but would not mind having
some examples for testing.
In some of the ICU online demos you can choose the output charset. This should be interesting with the Locale Explorer and Unicode Browser demos where you can get lots of different characters.

http://oss.software.ibm.com/icu/demo/

----
Unicode Browser, showing U+3000..U+30FF as a block, with the default UTF-8 charset: http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/ub/utf-8/?go=3040&n.x=9&n.y=9&n=block

Modify the URL manually to get -
UTF-16: http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/ub/utf-16/?go=3040&n.x=9&n.y=9&n=block
SCSU: http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/ub/SCSU/?go=3040&n.x=9&n.y=9&n=block

----
Locale Explorer, showing ja_JP, with the default UTF-8 charset: http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/lx/en/?_=ja_JP

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the UTF-8 encoding link, select the UTF-16 encoding: http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/lx/en/UTF-16/?_=ja_JP

Modify the URL manually to get SCSU: http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/lx/en/SCSU/?_=ja_JP
