Not all words or utterances necessarily have written forms, but... > Does it exist at all? Or is it just there for completeness of pinyin? ...I found a rua2 in the _Xiandai Hanyu Cidian_, U+633C, glossed as 1) "(zhi huo bu) zhou" ((paper or cloth) wrinkle) and 2) "kuai yao po" (about to break). It's marked "fang" (dialect). There's a pointer to the same character, pronounced ruo2, which in turn is glossed as "roucuo" (to rub), and marked "shu" (bookish). Thomas Chan [EMAIL PROTECTED]
