http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/k95.html It's not free, but it does a lot more than PuTTY -- file transfer, scripting, etc. A unique feature of Kermit (which is also available for Unix and other OS's) is that it can convert character sets not only in the terminal screen, but also as part of text-mode file transfer (Kermit or FTP protocol). - Frank
