Hello, In Windows 2000 WordPad I can type a high surrogate code, press Alt+X, then type a low surrogate code, press Alt+X again and obtain the corresponding character. This does not seem to work in Windows XP WordPad. Is there a way to enable this functionality in XP WordPad?
My guess is that the new RichEdit control might not accept surrogates in order to prevent isolated surrogates from being entered. I would appreciate any qualified comments. Thank you, Laurentiu
