Will Microsoft licence this font from SIL to distribute it with Windows or Internet Explorer updates? Or will Microsoft enhance its core fonts (Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Courier) to include more composition rules in order to support such standardized language? I think this should be developed along with corrections in the text renderer so that it will produce consistent results for canonically equivalent strings (I don't speak here about new ligatures or special layout rules dealing with CGJ, ZWJ, and ZWNJ, whose development is more complex and highly dependant on linguistic usages). Also consistent and conforming support of UTF-8 for characters out of the BMP is awaiting since long (more than 5 years now, since the adoption of GB18030 in China, long before the launch of Windows 2000, ME, XP, 2003, Media Center, and Pocket CE).
