What is *real-world* supposed to mean in this context? Are we talking
about printed matters, or just online matters outside of special
interest groups?
I know Wikimedia wikis have an option to convert math expressions to
"HTML" and this will use characters such as √ for me. I don't know if
they use the U+1D400 range though.
