What you identify as a "Latin script D" is probably also a "Greek script D". cf. also the Cyrillic script D, which coincides with the Latin, even though the roman (and even printed cursive!) letters diverge considerably. Having a script Δρ (in script style) does not seem "strange" or "absurd". Szabolcs
