I do understand there are some folks, particularly in the media, who don't understand the difference between normative and informative, and treat any information from (or submitted to) the Unicode Consortium as gospel and dictum.

IMHO the explicit health warnings I suggested would be an improvement in this regard over the current unwritten approach of "here's the data, but don't use it unless you're printing charts."
