[Wade asks about ODBC support under Linux]

Unfortunately, at present the Linux binary distribution does not have ODBC
built in to it. ODBC is not exactly standard on UNIX, perhaps Federico
could tell us what we'd have to ship in order to safely include it as
standard in the Linux binary .rpm.

You may be able to build some binaries from the uni.zip sources or CVS
repository. I have built w/ODBC multiple times on Solaris, and at least
once on Linux, so I can attest that it works. I will build a new Linux
binary distribution after the dust settles from the acquisition of Icon 9.4
stuff, a lot of the configuration code has changed and things are a bit
unsettled.
