[Wendell asks about Unicon on a PDA]
I have been interested in this for some time, and am probably willing to buy a Zaurus in order to help out. The graphics facilities may port to the Zaurus OK if their X11 subset is large enough; we use Xlib, not any higher level toolkit which PDA's might not support. In order to do the port, one would have to read up on Zaurus developer documentation and install a cross-compiler version of GCC on a desktop machine. We are used to thinking of the Icon/Unicon VM as pretty large, but the Zaurus can probably handle it from a size perspective.
