I looked in a couple ODBC books and didn't see anything related to "log" or disabling error logs. I would think this was a PostgreSQL configuration item rather than a client/ODBC item. Steve, have you checked whether PostgreSQL has a way to turn it off? Perhaps Federico or another guru can say something more helpful on this.
