I've noticed that open(s,"p") hangs when run under Windows98. By way
of illustration, the following code works fine under Win2k but hangs
under 98.

procedure main()
&trace := -1
p := O("dir \\","p")
while W(R(p))
end
procedure O(x[]); return open!x; end
procedure R(x[]); return read!x; end
procedure W(x[]); return write!x; end
-------------------
I grabbed the latest binaries and they don't appear to have worked.
I looked for a posting on this but didn't find one (in my local copies).
Any ideas?
