[Dave reports some troubles running the forthcoming IDE "ui" on UNIX.]
The makefile I sent had tab characters which were replaced by space characters somewhere in your mail processing; make is tab-sensitive, so you will need to replace sequences of 8 spaces with a tab character in order for this makefile to work. I'll try to update the uni.zip soon to remove hello.icn and howdy.icn and include the code so the UNIX "make Configure" step copies a makefile into uni/ide, but in the meantime you'll have to ignore the former files and put tabs into the latter, sorry. I am glad to hear you were able to build ui from the command line. ui turning the rest of the screen black and white is very curious! I have not seen this behavior before. How many colors per pixel is your display? When you click outside "ui", do the other applications go back to normal, or stay crazy?
