One of my sharp undergrads, Samat Jain, reports great progress on the
long-standing need-to-update-Linux-Unicon-rpms problem. He built a
Redhat 8.0 binary RPM, and a generic Linux source RPM, which I need help
testing. I have put his products up at
http://www.cs.nmsu.edu/~jeffery/courses/371/rpms/
for those of you brave enough to test it. He included his rpm spec file
(unicon.spec) and I would like to get that tested to see if we will be
able to easily keep our Linux binary builds up to date using it.
