Why build Unicon on Cygwin? Good question. For me, I live and die by Cygwin on Windows - you can use it for ssh servers, as an X server (yes, server, not client), as a PostgreSQL database server, etc.. So, while Clint's toolset specifically, and Mingw32 in general, are very useful, I still wanted to be able to build it under Cygwin so that I know that there is one more thing that can be done readily on Cygwin. In fact, it still is built with Mingw32, but this is how to do it from within the Cygwin environment.
