I came across something called by Thomas Quinot A solution! (with the exclamation point) for handling dead keys with no reference to xt motif or anything other than libx. Given my total ignorance of C programming I have no idea how doable this is. On the surface it looks easy but what do I know? Anyone willing to give it a try?
