We very much appreciated the feedback we received on the recent
release candidate uni.zip. No one reported major build problems, but
several issues with our miniature IDE, Ui, were pointed out. So far we have
fixed about half of them, and updated www2.cs.uidaho.edu/~jeffery/uni.zip
accordingly. The other half are coming, thanks to Ui's maintainer,
Mr. Hani Bani-Salameh.
Windows binaries: I hope to build really current ones soon, but in the
meantime,
www2.cs.uidaho.edu/~jeffery/setup-unicon.exe contains "recent" ones with the
last week's Ui fixes (I hope), if anyone wants to try them out.
I am looking for some Macintosh expertise to help with, or better yet point
me at
or teach me, how to construct an installable ISO image of our
OSX binaries. Current Macs all come with X Windows standard, eliminating
one
of the Mac's main limitations as an open UNIX system.
