Dear Unicon friends,

We are nearing completion of the new concurrent threads mechanism, and have
just updated the ucode and icode version #'s to account for the addition of
a new virtual machine instruction that was needed in order to make the
initial clause thread-safe. We decided to modify the ucode and icode
version #'s for all platforms, so that compiled code (libraries etc) would
work correctly whether linked into a concurrent or non-concurrent
executable. The upshot is, in the near future when you obtain a fresh copy
of Unicon (via SVN update or the next time we rebuild binaries or source
archive files), you will need to recompile any old libraries in order to
link or run them in the new Unicon. If you use "svn update" to obtain
these changes, you will probably have to reconfigure and rebuild your
Unicon libraries from scratch.

Sorry for any inconvenience!

Cheers,

Clint and Jafar
