As part of the big Unicon 12.1 rollout, the Unicon book online has been
updated with a new chapter on threads and concurrency, which is also
available in standalone form as Unicon Technical Report #14 on unicon.org.
With the new concurrency chapter and various other updates, the book is now
officially in its "second edition". It was converted over to LaTeX in
order to improve its openness and maintainability, and some formatting
issues or other errors may still be present; we would very much like to fix
these if you see any.
