1. All of my graphics programs are running under version 2 GUI, but 
creating an archive of old libraries would probably be advisable.

2. As for the ANSI-terminal problem (try running snake.icn if you're not 
familiar with the problem):
    a. For those running under centOS 6, add the rpm compat-libtermcap to 
solve the problem. This is not available under Fedora 20, but downloading 
the centOS 6 package and copying the termcap file to /etc works fine.
    b. I suggest we package the /etc/termcap package with the distribution 
(it is only 88371 bytes)--much easier than rethinking the whole display 
problem?
    c. For those who grew up on snake, you'll need to put a wait in the 
timing loop. Computers run thousands of times faster than when that 
program was written.
