I'm the happy owner of a MKIV 40' 1975, single eng.,it was a navy
tender and was decomissioned on 1994 , to be modified as a trawler
which I bought on 2007, I'm the 2nd owner.
The bronze shaft log is leaking too much water I considering to
remove the bronze shaft log and replace it for a fiberglass
shaft log and add a cutlass bearing on the end of the new FG
shaft log. I will appreciate any advice regarding this matter ,
thanks very much MV "Chimera" , Juld
