Greetings. I wanted to join this group as the new owner of a 1972 23' Salty Pup. It has a 318 with direct drive. I have owned a Umiflite years ago but my wife and I were shopping for a new smaller boat, and after looking at a lot of new cuddys we both fell in love with this old girl! We are bringing her to her slip in Portland on Monday and I am sure that I will be picking all the brains I can as we use and restore this boat.
