Or, things that go bump in the night........... Anchored in a beautiful BC Canada bay where you are required to stern tie to shore to allow more boats access. My friend tied next to me in this 40' trawler.
Dead calm winds. Sometime around 2am we feel and hear a loud bump on the boat. Shot out of a dead sleep to find my friends boat had pulled anchor and was leaning against mine while still tied to shore. He and his wife along with my wife were all up on deck running around to re anchor etc. Winds were gusting to 30. Moral here is always wear something presentable to bed when anchoring.
