Leah--I believe the 45 Yacht Home was built around the 42 foot hull. We rented one to go to the Worlds Fair in Vancouver, BC in the early 80's. Not a lot on style but very roomy and was perfect for our two couples and two teenage girls. We got it into some very rough water in beam seas in the Georgia Straits and it handled it very well, a lot better than some of the crew I might add. It was rough enough to cause a fire extinguisher to fly off the wall and the refrig to open up and dump everything on the floor. I would not have liked being that water in a Cruise-a Home. Hi- I'm considering buying a 1972 Uniflite Yacht Home. It's crazy though- I can't find any information on them- and the site doesn't even list them in their "model listing". Does anyone know much about them? I'm curious about their seaworthiness. I'd also love to see pictures if anyone has any! Thanks so much... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "UnifliteWorld" group.
