That's a great boat. I have the 31' version, and I can tell you where the extra 5' is on yours: the lower helm and cockpit area. I don't have the glass doors like you do, and my entire area under the hardtop and in the open cockpit is only a bit bigger than just your lower helm area. I think you must have one of the rarest of the uniflites built, I have done lots of research since buying my several years ago and only once in a while do I see a 36' express cruiser. The 31 footers are much more common. I am sure you will enjoy your boat. My wife and I would love to have the extra 5 feet but then I most likely couldn't trailer the boat like I do.
