Hull computations show the need for only 110 HP at 11 Knots gas engines should only be burning 9-11 gallons total per hour at that inefficient speed - Small Diesels would be burning 5-6 gallons per hour total - Large Diesels 6-8 gallons total - That 41' YF with the hull extension outran the 36' because of the extra waterline length.
