I have a 42' and my boat has a fold down chart table in the headliner on the port side of the main salon. Above is an access hole through the bridge which can be removed to crane engines in or out (done twice in my boat). Not sure if the 36 has the same but believe they do? If so you could put almost any size engine through the access. I have large cummins diesels which fit with room to spare.
