Some of you may know, I have a 1970 27' hardtop express, just got it. It came with a single 318, which someone has replaced with a 360. It has the single plane 318 intake manifold still on it, and baby AFB carburator.
Some of my questions. The rockers are cast iron, not the pressed steel auto type. Normal? It clatters like a solid lifter cam, I haven't taken it apart yet to see if it is, were any of these engines solid? I hope so! If not I sure have been beating the crap out of the retainer clips in the lifters, LOL. I was just wondering what some of your experiences are with these guys.
