I just repowered my 36' Sports Sedan to 370 hp Cummins 6BTA this
spring. The shaft calculator suggested Aqumet 19 1 3/4" shaft. I
went with an Aqumet 22 - 1 3/4" shaft which is more resistent to twist
as I'm loaded very heavy. I use 22X19 - 4 blade props on 1.52:1
trans. That gives me plenty of power and speed. You will absolutely
adore the Cummins. My mileage increased from .66 with the 440
Chryslers to 1.13 with the Cummins loaded heavy and cruiseing at
20mph.
