IT DEPENDS HOW YOU LOOK AT IT...I WILL SPEND ANOTHER $8,000-$10,000 to
rig
with 9.9hp Yamaha 4 stroke trolling motor, hyd steering, auto-pilot,
Dickenson Pacific oil stove, Furuno NavNet electronics, new upholstery,
hyd anchor winch, aluminum 20' poles w/stabilizers, and fish cleaning
station., etc OK, now we have a ALASKA CHARTER BOAT for about $20,000
that will earn me $1,500 day for 60-70 days in Pelican, Alaska visit my
website: www.ALASKAPROANGLER.COM...I sold my pride and joy, a 31' Casco
Bay Eastern Style charter boat in 2008 F/V 'DESTINATION' poweed with
Cummins 310hp..
I was going to retire, however decided to be smart and not have so much
$$$ invested in a boat (F/V DESTINATION I had over $150,000 invested)
Uniflites are ageless, and well built...The 27' Sportfisher with single
gas or diesel is perfect for my operation and the investment is not too
much to earn a respectable income for the summer...make sense? capt dh
