Eric,

I am having truck trouble, the clutch master and slave cylinder combo
has broken for the second time since I have owned the truck (less than
10k miles). It is a chincy part, the first one was presumably
original to the truck and the seals started leaking allowing fluid to
bypass instead of pushing the clutch plate, this time the ball joint
bolt for the slave cylinder actually broke (in a home depot parking
lot no less). Ford supposedly beefed this part up since the first one
was clearly inadequate, yet it is still a sorry looking setup, cheap
plastic hose and small cylinders. Do you know anything about this
from your experiences, and do you have any suggestions? It was a $150
part, which should tell you that it really sucks, since it would be
much much more if it was actually substantially metal or other
materials other than plastic.

Sorry about the non-boat topic everyone, but I am also interested to
know how it's going and just how much roomier you consider the Mega
over the Express? Too bad you live on the other side of the country,
because I would love to see the boat sometime. I guess pictures will
have to do until you decide to do a Florida Keys trip.

Has anyone done any boating in Lake Lanier or Altoona near Atlanta?
They are artificial lakes and have many fingers running in between
hills and eastern mountains, seems like they would be fun for a few
days of exploring.
