1973 31SS, I purchased new ignition switches for the fly bridge (typical cole hersee switches) but need a different style for the starboard switch. The originals have a much thinner switch body(the round part opposite end of key) and therefore did not interfere with the steering mechanism. The new ones I purchased have a thicker body and hits the steering box before it can go into the dash... I need one with the thinner body or one that has significantly shorter overall length, has anyone dealt with this before?
