My '84 has Teleflex hydraulic steering. Teleflex told me to use only hydraulic oil. It is now available at West Marine and other supply companies. When I first asked this question I was told that I could purchase the same oil at an airplane supply, but that was not convenient for me. I think I originally bought some from Defender (online), but now it is easier for me to go to West Marine. DavidO
